it all fit in the cases.  I discarded a few items but am feeling pretty good about my selection.

  1. OMG look how neat they look..I have to sit on mine to get it to close! lol Haven't packed my "necessary" makeup yet as I am still using it. And yes, I have downsized even that..still, I know I have more than the one on the right!! Did you put like things in bags and if so, where did you get them? I am just using gallon sized ziplock bags..shorts in one, rain gear in one, jacket/windbreaker in one, socks and gloves in one..etc. All labeled. May have to rethink street clothes one more time..

  2. My street clothes consist of a pair of blue jeans, a pair of shorts, swimming trunks, two polo shirts (may cut that to one) and a t-shirt. The cases are not waterproof, as I'm sure you've seen. Either the contents have to be in bags or, as I'm going to do, the case itself will go into a trash bag. Of course, I'm not expecting rain....

  3. FYI: Each of the four riders have one of the cases shown in the picture, which is supposed to hold everything we may need for the trip (including tent, sleeping bags and pads, clothes, etc). The four cases, the propane oven/stove you see in the picture, along with an ice chest, will be carried in our pickup. Brother, Larry, will be driving the pickup across Oregon. Still looking for volunteer driver(s) for part or all of the remainder of the trip!
